Pushing off with a combination of hands on the keys and the feet may be a good way to pivot.
Beginning with the feet on tenor C-sharp and D-sharp, play a chord with both hands on the Great. Push off with the right foot on D-sharp AND with the fingers to reach the lowest C-sharp and D-sharp with the two feet. Now pivot back up to locate tenor C-sharp and D-sharp with the two feet.
After all this pivoting, here is the point: are you still centered on D? Remember to pivot--not slide--to reach pedal keys.
