Three different kinds of musical texture occur
frequently in organ music. Each of these corresponds to a particular
registrational type.
To determine the musical texture, we will evaluate several examples
according to the two musical characteristics that were just identified:
- the NUMBER of manual parts
- the RELATIVE PROMINENCE and nature of the parts
