Pedal Locals (“Divisionals”)

You can use the Pedal locals to set and recall combinations of Pedal stops in the same way that Great local pistons do with Great stops. These appear either as toe studs located just above the pedal sharps to your lower right, or as thumb pistons situated underneath the lowest manual to your right. They are usually omitted on smaller organs.

With the stops that you have already pulled:

• Press and hold in the “Set” button to your lower left.
• While holding in the Set button, press one of the Pedal local pistons or toe studs (number 5, for example), then release the two pistons.

To see if your combination was saved, cancel, then press Pedal local piston or toe stud 5 WITHOUT the Set button. It should now have recalled your stop combination.
