The Harmonic Series

This is a harmonic series based on the B below tenor C. It shows how the series applies on a note other than tenor C.

As you move back and forth between the previous screen and this one, you see that the only items that change are the notes themselves. As the note that is played (indicated by the arrow) changes, all of the overtones that are produced also change. However, the relative position of the various partials remains in place.
