One excellent way of dealing with mistakes is using--
THE FOUR F'S
FIND
It may seem obvious at first, but IDENTIFYING the mistake (including recognizing any error, pause, or insecurity as a mistake) before it becomes a habit is not easy. Practicing mistakes is one of the most widely-used and rarely-recognized of all bad practice habits.
If a mistake happens only once, it may well have been a fluke. Ignoring it may be wise, thereby denying it any undue attention that could otherwise exaggerate the problem.
If the same mistake happens again, however, the core of the problem must be found and eliminated by subjecting it to the rest of this process.
