Using Console Devices: Items
Preparing your organ for playing requires all the following steps. Go through each of them, adjusting for your organ as needed:
1. Bench and “Person” placement. Adjust the bench as needed, and then seat yourself on it properly.
2. Power Up. Activate the blower and any other electrical components by turning on the power switch.
3. Cancel Button. If any stops remain engaged from the last time it was played, press the cancel button.
4. Expression Pedal Position. Open fully any expression pedal(s). “Open” means that your toe is fully forward. If there is a crescendo pedal, close it fully.
5. Miscellaneous. Your organ may require other steps such as tuning electronic stops, inserting the memory card, or setting selected audio controls.
