Great Local Pistons

Some larger organ consoles provide a way to set and recall combinations of stops on one division only: the Great, for example. These Great local (also called “divisional”) pistons appear in the form of thumb pistons centered just underneath the Great manual.

(Note: if the console contains only one numbered set of thumb pistons, they will be general, not local, combination pistons.)
