Pedal Locals (“Divisionals”)

You can use the Pedal locals to set and recall combinations of Pedal stops in the same way that Great local pistons do with Great stops. These appear either as toe studs located to your lower right just above the pedal sharps, or as thumb pistons situated to your right underneath the lowest manual. They are rarely present on smaller organs.

After pulling several stops in the Pedal:

• Press and hold in the Set button to your lower left.
• While holding in the Set button, press one of the Pedal local pistons or toe studs (number 5, for example), and then release the two pistons.

To see if your combination was saved, press cancel, and then press Pedal local piston or toe stud 5 without the Set button. It should now have recalled your stop combination.
