Large Organ Consoles

Operating Stop Knobs

When a stop TAB is down, the stop is engaged. When it is up, it is disengaged.

When a stop KNOB is pulled out, the stop is engaged. When pushed in, it is disengaged.

Groups of stop knobs can be engaged by hand (that is, without the aid of the combination action) by grasping the edges of the desired stop knobs with several fingers and pulling. Stops can be rapidly retired by pushing the stop knobs in with the flat hand and spread fingers.
