Couplers
Although not directly associated with the MIDI couplers, we are now going to use MIDI to record your playing through the PR-300 (a very useful practice procedure). Reset the PR-300 by turning it off, waiting a few seconds, and then turning it back on. Now select a few stops, and then prepare to play a short passage of music at the organ. Press these PR-300 buttons in the following order: RECORD, TRACK 1, then PLAY.
After the two “count-in” measures are finished on the PR-300 display (“-2”, then “-1”), begin playing. Change stops during your performance. When you are finished, press these buttons: STOP, RESET (just to the left of STOP), then PLAY. Adjust the tempo of playback by rotating the wheel on the PR-300. Repeat the playback by pressing STOP, RESET, then PLAY again. Turn the PR-300 off when finished.
