Note that the Great does not couple up to the Swell, and the Pedal does not usually couple up to any manual.

It is also important to understand that a coupled combination does not couple again (or through). For example, if you pull Swell to Great 8', the Swell combination sounds on the Great. If you then pull Great to Pedal 8', the Swell combination does not couple down with the Great to the Pedal--it does not "couple through."

If you wish to hear the Swell combination in the Pedal, you must pull Swell to Pedal 8'.
