Leading up to Hymn Projects 2 & 3

Hymn Project 1 was a very simple three-part arrangement of the hymn, “Saints, Behold How Great Jehovah.” It provided a challenging yet straight-forward opportunity to focus on the three listening skills for practice:

• Precise releases (commas equal eighth rests)
• Perfect legato
• Independence of line (with correct fingering)

Before beginning Hymn Projects 2 & 3 you should first have mastered Hymn Project 1. Be certain that all of the above items are in order.
