The chorus reeds at 16', 8', (and 4') pitch make up the reed chorus. This chorus has a particularly fiery character, and is used in many contexts in the organ literature.
If the reed chorus is considered the foundation of your combination, you might add a chorus mixture for brilliance, and then possibly stops from the flue chorus to strengthen the foundation.
Example 1: Chorus reeds 16' and 8' only
Example 2:
Chorus reeds 16' and 8' plus chorus mixture
Example 3: Same as Example 2, plus flue chorus
