The first and second video examples begin with a medium combination sounding. As the Sforzando or Tutti reversible is pushed once, the Sforzando indicator light appears and most of the stops of the organ are heard. As the reversible is pushed again, the indicator light disappears and only the original combination remains sounding.
In the third example the crescendo pedal opens gradually until it is fully open, engaging nearly the full organ. The indicator light rises to the top. At that point the Sforzando reversible is pushed, which engages a final few stops to add a “crowning glory” to the full organ, and the red indicator lights come on. As the reversible is pushed again the Sforzando effect is removed, and then the crescendo pedal gradually closes.
Be sure to close the crescendo pedal and de-activate the Sforzando or Tutti reversible before playing a softer piece or passage!
