March Theory Class

Instructor: Dr. Jacob Hofeling

These classes provide an opportunity to review important theory concepts with an expert and serve as a springboard for continued study throughout the year.

Each class covers topics from beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of music theory. 

Topic suggestions for this class will open after February 11.

Topics that were covered in this month’s class:

  • Levels 1-2: Intervals (at the beginning of the class)
  • Levels 3-4: Circle of Fifths (starting at 26:35)
  • Levels 5-6: Modulation (starting at 48:14)
  • Questions and Answers (starting at 1:18:35
