May Theory Class

    These classes provide an opportunity to review important theory concepts with an expert and serve as a springboard for continued study throughout the year.

    Each class covers topics from beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of music theory. 

    Topics that were covered in this month’s class:

    • Levels 1-2: Minor Scales (at the beginning of the class)
    • Levels 3-4: Progressions (starting at 22:41)
    • Levels 5-6: Modulation (starting at 45:50)
    • Questions and Answers (starting at 1:01:40

    Topic suggestions for this class will open after February 12.

    We invite you to suggest one topic for discussion by clicking this link. 

    Topics must be submitted no later than April 30.
